Can microled replace OLED?

In view of the future development trend, this paper puts forward the view that micro LED has a long way to go. At present, it is still in the stage of R & D, facing the bottleneck of four technologies and production, such as epitaxial and chip, huge transfer, full color, power drive, etc., and frankly, micro led still has a long way to go from commercial mass production.
 
 
Micro LED technology is to transfer RGB trichromatic source to TFT substrate with micro led particles less than 100 μ m, and form micro led self luminous display.
 
 
 
But micro LEDs do have great potential. Micro LED display, which omits materials such as backlight module, liquid crystal, color filter and polarizing plate, has relatively simple structure, so it has the characteristics of high resolution, low power consumption, high brightness, high contrast, high color saturation, fast reaction speed, thin thickness and long life. The power consumption can be as low as 10% of LCD and 50% of OLED. It is the next generation of display technology expected by the industry.
