According to the lighting function, outdoor landscape lighting can be divided into general lighting and local lighting.
For lighting designers, in order to make better use of the light to create aesthetic feeling, the first thing we should know is whether the LED floodlight belongs to the local lighting or not?
General LED lights are usually evenly arranged on the top or side wall of the working site to illuminate the whole working face. General lighting has higher requirements for the distribution of light. Direct lighting and semi direct lighting are widely used, especially the latter. LED projection lamp is used for semi direct lighting type. Part of the light emitted upward lights the ceiling, which can increase the brightness of the ceiling and create a more comfortable and bright environment.
LED projection lamp is mostly used for local lighting, in order to improve the illumination of a working part of the lamp. Its function can be to strengthen and supplement lighting on the basis of general lighting, or it can be used as temporary lighting in places that do not need lighting at ordinary times (such as equipment maintenance places). There are no strict regulations on their light distribution. Sometimes, in order to meet the needs, some large factories also use LED floodlights for local lighting.
