When LED plant growth lamp is used for plant cultivation lighting, not only its basic photometric and radiometric properties, but also its photometric properties, photoquantum density of plant irradiated surface and plant photometric parameters should be considered in photoquantum system and plant photometric system, so as to evaluate the performance of plant lighting source comprehensively.
Next, we will introduce the requirements of plant lighting on the quality of plant growth light.
Plants generally rely on chlorophyll in their leaves to absorb irradiation, and their absorption bands are generally in the blue and red regions, as shown in Figure 1. Absorbed light is converted into organic energy by photosynthesis in plants for growth and reproduction. Therefore, for plant lighting products, first of all, the irradiance of absorption band should be considered, which is generally 400-500 nm blue light and 600-700 nm red light, and the spectral composition, range, peak wavelength and color temperature of selected combination plant lighting should be determined.
