The light sources suitable for plant light supplement are: high pressure sodium lamp, metal halide lamp, LED plant lamp, etc. The most commonly used are sodium lamp, metal halide lamp and LED plant lamp for plant light supplement. Others are smaller, or very expensive.
Ordinary sodium lamps are inexpensive and have low light flux. High-efficiency sodium lamps, as the name implies, have higher light flux. But these are not really plant light supplementary sodium lamps, they are only used as street lamps.
Sodium lamp for plant supplementary lighting must have correct spectrum and high lumen output; while high-efficiency sodium lamp has high lumen output, the content of red and blue light in the spectrum is much lower than that of plant sodium lamp, but the useless green light is 7-9 times higher than that of plant sodium lamp, which can only waste energy under the effect. So the customer asked why the growth effect was not obvious. You used the wrong lamp.
LED plant lamp is a new high-tech product which has been rising with the white light illumination of LED in the last five years or so. Many domestic scientific research institutes began or completed the experiment of "the effect of different LED light quality on plants" in recent years.
